I'm a BSCC Level 3 Coach, currently working towards my Level 4 Certificate (PgDip) and Centre10 Advanced Mindset Coach accreditation. With over 25 years of hands-on equestrian experience—ranging from breeding and backing young horses to competing nationally and internationally up to 1.40m—I bring both depth and breadth to my coaching practice. I’ve also had the privilege of being part of the British Showjumping Step Up to Gold Programme.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in a horse-centred and rider-centred approach. I believe that true progress comes when both the horse’s welfare and the rider’s wellbeing are equally prioritised. My own journey—especially navigating complex veterinary and soundness challenges with my own horses—has led me to seek out training methods that are ethical, evidence-informed, and focused on partnership.

Groundwork and positive reinforcement sit at the heart of my work. These tools not only build trust and understanding between horse and rider, but also offer a more sustainable and compassionate way to train and develop.
